Hey everyone just wanted to know how to get magnapacks for my cobra. I went on magnaflows website and it said the cat-back magnapack system wasn't for a cobra and I called magnaflow and he said that the reason i can't have the magnapack system is because on my independent rear suspension???? Any know anything about this because i am always hearing people talk about there magnapacks?

Hm, I've seen a bunch of 03/04's with Magnapacks.

I'm looking for it right now and you're right, I can only find regular Magnaflow cat-backs for Cobra's. I'm confident you can just swap the mufflers though...

thats what i'm betting everyone is doing because the full systems say they are not for a cobra.

i'm not sure what the sound difference would be but SLP offers a loudmouth kit for the cobra. I don't think anyone in my area has them so I don't know what they would sound like. They both have the resonator type mufflers so they should sound similar(IMO)

I LOVE MY MAGNAPACKS!
I would highly suggest to get them and mod them to fit!
Oh and also get the x pipe w/converters... makes the exhaust come alive!

Case

I got Packs on my GT and I love 'em, but my friend has Borla Stingers on her '04 Cobra and I gotta admit they sound pretty sweet! If you can't get the Packs to fit then maybe the Stingers could be an option. Little pricey though.

MAC and SLP make really nice exhasts for cobras. Actually so does hooks.

yeah i really want the borla, but its like $200 dollars more than the magnaflow. If i could find a great deal on borla I would prefer that.

Dude dont but Loudmouths on your Cobra. I have not talked to one person who was happy with the way loudmouths sounded on their cobra. They sound much better on GT's than on 4V mustangs from who I have talked to who has had or has loudmouths on their cobras and they say it sounds absolutely terrible.

I would do some research before you just jump into a loudmouth product on a cobra, and make sure you know how it will sound and that you will like it, because from what Ive heard, they sound aweful on cobras.
