Default Stock GT wing?

Is the stock 2000 GT wing functional or not? i've pulled VERY high speeds with the stock wing and felt no problems with the back of the car getting light, please, someone that knows, tell me: is the stock GT wing functional or not?

Thanks, Joey

It doesnt, but I think a Stang with no spoiler is one of a very few cars that looks good without one. I would take mine off along with my badges, but I dont want any damn holes in my car.

They call them spoilers for a reason. They spoil the look of your car...

Ha, Ha...Thanks for taking up for the really HAWT looking cars. If you have to depend on that spoiler for looks, then there is no hope. LOL

maybe its just me, but it your car would look much sweeter w/ a spoiler. dont get me wrong, the night picture sure makes it look better, but in daylight, spoiler would definately help. You want a car w/o a spoiler, get a fox notchback.... they can pull it off. But to each there own i guess, some people actually like there v6's also.
