Default UPR Shifter?

anyone drivin with one or know anything about em? just wondering because i found a helluva deal on one and im considering getting it but i was wondering if anyone knew anything about the solidness and shortness of them.

Yeah, I'm glad everyone is liking their mgw shifters. I've been trying to turn more people onto them ever since i've had mine.

but for about a 3rd the price i can get one from a guy off another forum, brand new. and the upr goes for about 160 new at most places.

Eh, if you want, go for it. I'm still sticking with my mgw, and wouldn't recommend anything but.

Edit: Just make sure it is for your transmission before you buy it and find out you cannot use it.

I use that shifter. Its ok but not the best. I got a deal on mine so I didnt pay full price.

I've had mine for about 8 months or so with no complaints. I paid $99 for the shifter & adjustable handle plus shipping direct from UPR.

I've heard great things about other shifters, but only used one other. I drove my buddy's '96 GT with the Steeda, and couldn't tell any difference between it and my UPR...

Plus I like being to use this handle as opposed to the MGW...
