my friend has a vortech supercharged gt running 5 psi boost and he wants to run more. He cant just run a different pulley can he? if not, what has to be done to run like 11psi

It depends on the supercharger, yes in most cases a smaller pulley can be used. However most of the time only about 4 psi increase is usualy pushing the max on any givin blower. Like I said it depends on the unit. Also more fuel would be needed and a tune as well. I am not positive but 11psi may be a little much for factory motor......but then again I've seen some fords hold up to stuff they werent suposed to.

i wouldn't push it without gettin a forged motor or getting his motor forged

+1 You can maybe bump it up a few PSI but if your talking 11 PSI your going to need new lowers on that one...

eh, nanaki is running 10 lbs just fine on his stang. It's in the tune. A good tune and you will be just fine.

how many miles? and he whould need a tune. 11PSI is to much on a GT motor i whould do 9 to be safe
