i use the free way alot. i love it. the highspeed etc. but i also like the drag perspective, 1/4 mile. you know.. i want good accleration as well. should i go with 3:73s or some 410s.. mm FRPP? you think i can install myself or NO!!!

 

4.10's and you need a shop to install them and you also need your speedometer corrected.

 

Be sure to get FRPP, when you make the decision.


I agree with the 4.10's. Only alternative is 3.73's, and only if your going with a Twinscrew type supercharger.

 

4.10's all the way, I drive to College 40 miles a day on the expressway and its not a problem at all. The pro's of performance out weighs the con's. But you need a shop to install them, try to find a shop that has experience with mustangs and use Ford Racing gears, brands like richmond make a whine sound, cant go wrong with FR products

 

You could go with 3.90 (dont think FRPP makes them), which would be right inbetween 4.10 and 3.73. No matter what ratio you go with, you will notice a difference in acceleration. When I am ready to get gears, I will either get 3.90 or 4.10.
