Sorry for an off-topic question, but where did you get your chin spoiler from? MustangTuning says they are out until March.
gefracing.com

Guys, my concern is not that it will fly off (as it is a 3 piece and held in by two screws at the top), but rather that I don't like that little gap. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on removing the gap.
Heres instructions how to install the grille delete and chin spoiler. Click on this link www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2004/07/Project01GT/
I followed that but the fasteners I'm missing are in this picture.

I think I'm going to put on some of those push in fasteners like they have holding the insulation under the hood (just a little smaller, came with two that I didn't have to use).

I dont think you need them. I didnt get them with mine and I have no problems. As long as you slide the bottom of the grille delete under the bumper, than it will be fine.

Since it is going to be a permanant part of your car, this is what I did, under that piece I put some black, you can use clear, silicon seal/glue and put a heavy object to hold it down while it cures. No more gap, no more lifting up at high speeds.....Overnight wold be good>

What kind of double sided tape did you use? I bought my 3pc from Steeda and it came with a foam strip of 3M Double Sided tape, very strong. Has held on perfectly with no gaps what so ever.

i got mine from a place in texas (texas mustang supply (i think)) they might still have them u could try it............hey xrock, who is in the superbowl today?................go steelers

ps. i wouldnt order it from mustang tuning, i ordered one from there and they neglected to tell me they were out of them and after 2 weeks they told me they were out of them but they expected another shipment in another week.....3 weeks later i canceled my order and that same week they were finealy marked out of stock and stayed that way until recently.....shady, their customer service has been terrible in my experience
really? I got mine no problems at all. In fact it came a day early. These chin spoilers fly off the shelf...you gotta order them when they first get em in stock like I did or else theres no way you'll be able to get it.

I have the 3-piece, but I still bought locking washers similar to these from a local hardware store:

It was a pain in the *** squeezing my fingers under there to get them on right.

Did you get the 2 or 3 piece delete? If you got the 3 piece, you'll be fine... it's secured at the top. If not, I don't know how well it would hold up, as I have the 3 piece as well.
2 piece holds just fine. trust me
