I do a lot of highway driving. I have 4.10s.
Nanaki has a supercharger and some moron told him to get 3.73s so he did. He is really pissed and upset at people on here for recommending them. He also drives on the highway.
Another guy made a post about how much 3.73s suck and he wanted 4.10s for highway driving.

Im not an ******* im just trying to make sure this guy doesnt get screwed like everyone else did.
Then we can agree to disagree, but don't talk to me like I'm an idiot, and don't tell others not to listen to me.

foxes have a different OD ratio, i know the 99-04s have an OD ratio of .62 and im not sure on the earlier ones, and its really funny, i have stock gears V-6 and nanaki gets better milage then me with a blown GT and 3.73s which pist him off cause people recomended them and he hates them and 03yellowpony gets about 3 mpg better then me WITH 4.10s.

4.10s or nothing at all, the lowest i would go for an SN-95 is 3.90.

and also, without going and searching for the answer what does you 96 run for rpms at 70 mph?

the 70 mph question wasnt tward you it was tward "the guy with a 96 and 4.10s"

as for gears get 4.10s no matter what anyone else says, they are not that bad and everything is just a myth

well i used to be like that two cause my uncles 70 maro had 3.90s and he liked them, but his milage was crap and had no top end, you need to have gears done in a modern vehicle cause they have different OD ratios, i drove my friends GT on the highway, which we buried the needle, something we could not do with stock gears cause OD was a dog, we got better milage then my V-6, and when we got to the race we were going to the first gear wasnt horrible but wasnt great either.

why its no myth its a fact, gears do not decrease your milage as bad as everyone says they do.
