Default Would this work???

well I have an auto 96 gt, I was thinking maybe I should upgrade the tranny instead of changing it to manual. After research, came across the Volvo V70 tranny. Idk what it is im still tryna figure it out, I know it came either 5 speed or optional 6 speed automatic. Would I be able to make it work with my mustang?

why would you put a volvo tranny in there? it would be too hard to make it work. just get a shift kit and a stall and call it a day.

Why do you think that? I highly doubt it would make much of a differance at all, that Volvo trans is made for the highway not for fast accleration. Honstly you need a custom bell housing and then a way to use the Volvo computor to control it as that trans is 100% electronic. If you think you need a trans with that many gears check out Gear Vendors, they make an Under/Overdrive unit that bolts right up to your trans.
