well people say autos suck from a roll AKA on the highway
well if you have automatic overdrive when you punch it when you are cruzing and a certin speed it downshifts real quick and then goes. but its really quick. quicker then any person could shift soo thats probably an advantage
ummm no. I typically don't race people when I am at highway speeds. Mustangs aren't know for their topend speed to begin with, and having an auto doesn't help. I can punch it at 70mph, but once I get back into overdrive (85ish) my car just creeps slowly. I won't hesitate to drop into 2nd from a 30-45mph roll though My car pulls pretty decent through 2nd gear.

auto here, and i leave it in D while racing. Usually i launch low at like 1000pms because theres no reason to take off screaming on the little poor ricers. highways mustangs can still hang till they hit 105-110, unless your modded out, you'll probably slow your roll like a **** round there.

You never had it accel a little then decide it wants to downshift

i dont mean speed wise. i mean shifting it from gear to gear. and auto would be more consistand and quicker or as quick from for example 2nd to 3rd

that whole after 110 thing is poop, thats what N20 is for lol jk. N20 would help though, gears would help but how bad is the mustang topend really? I never got up past 100, waiting for it to get warmer, could it compete with a V6 24V engine or what, gimme some reference
