How many miles are too much?
I have a 01 GT and I use it as a daily driver. I bought the car used @ 52k, and now it has 76k (and this has been nearly a year since I got it). I want to do soo much to this car, but yet I am concerned about the mileage.
What do you guys think?

you have a loooooong ways to go before your engine goes kaput. My 97 has 120k+ and is still going strong. My stepdad's 97 F-150 has 350k miles on its 4.6 and he has never had anything go bad yet. I think he's only changed the plugs like twice. The 4.6's are damn good engines.

Its more about the maintainence and how the car has been driven. My friend had a 96 GT with 170k miles and no problems at all. And I had a 98 GT with about 80k and had all kinds of problems....

Yeah if you maintain the hell out of it you'll see long life out of your motor. I was thinking the same thing when I was at 76,000 too. Now I'm at 87,000 and with a few maintanance mods here and there the car has never ran better, ever! And I still have a few things planned for it...
Mod it up, just maintain it while you do it and you won't see a problem...
