Default Cleaning engine/bay

In the spring I would like to clean the engine/bay esp after this winter. Any good ways I can accomplish this besides using a power washer? Or better yet, any good directions on how to do this?

Thanks!!

A nice strong engine degreaser will help get rid of a lot of the dirt and grime....

Let the engine idle till it is warm to the touch, shut it off. Cut up a garbage bag and cover all the electrical parts, spray the engine bay with a good degreaser, I personally have been very happy with all the Meguiar products, scrub with a firm bristled brush and rinse. Take off all the plastic, and let the engine idle to dry off the pooled water. Repeat as necessary. And my wife complains about me always watching the Speed channel!!

Steam Premium from Black Magic. You spray it on a warmed up motor, let it sit for 10 minutes and then power wash it off. Dry off your motor and good old tire foam to top it off works perfect Thats what I do
