Convertible top window
Im sure this has happened to someone else on here. The back window is separating from the convertible top. What did yall use to replace the window and keep it water tight? Thanks in advance.

I believe if the top begins to seperate from the top, other than glue it back down (which I wouldn't recommend doing) you have to replace the entire top. That's what I was told by the uphosltry shop who replaced my top.

My window has never given me a problem, but my Aunt's convertible had a problem and they just replaced her back window with a piece of Plexi-glass. She tinted it to match the other windows and other then not have rear defroster it matched perfectly. Only cost her like $50 including the tint, compared to the $250 they wanted for a glass window with defroster.

you can get it cheaper on www.50resto.com but I don't know how much install would cost you.

The top and window are both good, just the window isnt sealed at the top any more. Didnt know if there was some kind of special adhesive to use to get it to seal up again. Other than that the top is mint.
