Default Running on the edge

Does anybody have any pix of a 275 tire on stock rims? Its about time for me to buy new tires and I'd like to have something a little wider than the 245's. I checked discount tire co and they offer a 255 and a 275 that are made for the mustang wheels. To me 275 seems a little large considering the wheel width on the stock wheels. Sounds like its gonna look as if its about to pop off the wheel if I do a burnout. If anybody has a close up photo of this setup it'd be nice. Thanks for the help!

Yes but you have an earlier model mustang, probably with 16 inch wheels. I have an 03 with 17's. Does anybody have any pictures of the torque thrust wheels with 255's or 275's????

If I were you, I would get a pair of 10.5 wheels and put on 315`s in the rear and keep the 245`s up front. It`ll look bad ***...

For your gt, nothing... Just some 17x10.5 inch rims with 315/35/17 series tires...

But to the original poster, I know for sure they can fit but I don't have a pic of them.

I have 275s on the back of my car, but i went down a size on the sidewall. They fit with no problems, and look meaty.

I do have drag radials on though, but I would not think it would make a difference.

In a few minutes I will go get some pics with em on the back tires. BTW, am running 245s (stock size) on the fronts.

Thanks man. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I have the torque thrust wheels, but I assume they are the same width as yours. Did you have to put wheel spacers in? If I get 275's I'd want to put them all the way around. Do you think they would scrub when I turn? I thought the 275's would bulge out more than that, actually they look really good!
