Default 97 2v to 00 2v swap

would you be able to just pull out the motor out of the 97 and drop in a motor from a 2002? or what kind of other jobs are necessary

i needed nothing new for the engine swap i got. 96 gt with a 01 motor. only thing is you gotta rearrange the alternator and make some new brackets for the coil packs. its pretty straight forward. no tune is required, the 97 computer will work fine but if you got a tuner id get a new tune for your new motor
