Default Need new rear bumper

I like to put a different looking rear bumper on mine. I do like the 03-04 Cobra bumpers but I do not like to drive around with the cobra inprints and according to the paint shop filling in the lettering does not work that well. Any ideas for a good looking simple bumper?

Steeda and Cervinis have some slick rear bumpers.

Cervinis looks pretty sharp. I like the simple design. But then again the inprints "Stalker"? Would be great without that.

Try another shop.. I bet that shop just doesn't want to deal with it.

I dunno, I don't like the idea of filling in that much stuff with bondo. I would think a pretty small impact would crack it off if the bumper flexed???

I don't think it's that much just to fill in the letters.. You still want it to curve with the rest of the bumper.. But if you get hit, I bet it would need to get repainted again because it would probably have spider cracks.

They claim which is btw my concern as well that the bumper flexes so much that just regular bondo does not work that well. And for sure when you get hit it will crack.

I'm not a paint expert, but isn't there something other than just regular ol' bondo that'll work.. But I'm saying, if you get hit, the bumper will probably still need to get repainted anyways.

Yeah they would use kind of a glue for it. But the problem is that glue is a different material and expandes and shrinks differently from the bumper which causes cracks. Especially here in the summer time were we hit 110 on a regular base. The surface would be just to big. And these guys know what they talking about. The did a lot of fiberglas and paint work for my shop and also fixed a huge hole in my truck bumper.
