Default 245/16/50 on 16"?

would 245/16/50 fit o.k. on a stock 16" rim? any clearance problems? i don't have the cash for 17" rims so i'm sticking with these bad boys. thanks.

yeah that will fit just fine.. you dont have any issues untill you get into much wider sizes.. 245's arent that wide... is 50 the sidewall height that height that came stock on those? I thought it was a 45? A 50 will fit no problems, but it will make your car sit taller as well...

The stock tire size is 225/55/R16 a 245/50/R16 will be very close to the same height.

Why not just go with a better 225/55?

I have Daytona 245/50/16 and I dont have any rubbing on my 97 GT! I like it in the summer (great traction) but in the winter the suck on snow.

ORIGINAL: ROB 98GT

if you want 17" rims any time soon, send me an email. I am changing my stock 17" to 18", waiting on tires to arrive. 2003 GT stock rims, probably ask around 200-250, even give you the stock tires for free.
