i changed vacum lines to purge canister, check engine light went off but is back on. does that mean the cnister flow solenoid is bad? if so is it hard to replace and where do u get the part? I heard u can only get it at the ford dealer?
Oh by the way it s a 96gt. i would appreciate any help and possible diagram of location!

A. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1443 indicates a failure in the EVAP canister purge valve circuit. The Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge (CP) valve controls the flow of vapors from the fuel vapor storage canister to the intake manifold during various engine operating modes.
The canister purge valve is located at the back rh in the engine compartment, along the firewall i think
easy to change 2 vacumn lines and a electrical conection, i got mine at my parts plus store and i dont think it was more than $20.

sorry im ignorant to the p1443 code could it also be the purge flow sensor if so wheres it located and where can i get the part really hope some one has a diagram for the mustang gt 96 evap system PULEASE! im tired of paying mechanics hundreds of dollars

go with this guys recommendations its the only thing thats electrical in there that i can think of anyways
