I think in order to be able to give you more information it would help if you told us what your goals were. As in how much Hp you want to make, what times you wanted to run, daily driver or little driving? Things like that. Both a centrifugal and a roots are good in theyre own right, but both are better for certain applications than the other.

Daily driver go with the Kenne Bell
For racing go with the Vortech

The Kenne Bell has a lot of power down low, but above 4000RPMs or so the Vortech usually makes more, but how often do you drive above 4000RPMs?

I dont know if I like the idea of my daily driver seeing a lot of boost at every RPM... Therefor I would probably go with a centrifugal either way....

I agree with that, and also the fact that its hard to put down that much down-low power on the street anyway.

Then why get a supercharger if your car is going to feel like it's stock every day...
If I am paying that much for something I want to feel it..

The Kenne Bell has a bypass that works off engine vacuum, so while you are putting around town you are not under boost, but you will have full boost at anything above 2000 RPMs if you put your foot into it

just a minor correction but KB isnt a roots style s/c...it's a twin screw s/c. An eaton like on the cobra is a roots s/c
