I was just on ModularPowerhouse.com and i'm looking at these Stage2 and Stage3 heads and cams... What kind of power are we talking if you added those to a stock 2V 4.6?

Someone please list the best & safest way to make power on these cars... (what about an engine swap?)

 

On a stock block with stock internals you will not benefit from stage 2 or 3 cams much. They peak their power at a higher RPM. You redline far before they hit their peak power. However it will sound good as hell.

 

300-310 RWHP with full exhaust/intake boltons (LTs), and their cam/heads combo (and tune)

Much more if you replace the bottom end, like matt said.

 

when peaple say replace the bottom end what does that consist off? and where is a site or a place you can get a forged bottom end? or what do i need to run high boost with a s/c?

 

They are talking about the crank, connecting rods, and pistons.

You can go completely insane if you wanted to, but yes. This setup with a stock block should be good for somewhere around 575-600 RWHP. Anything more than that would require looking into someway to shore up the block a bit. Either a aftermarket block or girdle or something. I have not looked into that though, so I am not 100 percent sure.

Honestly I cannot tell what the differnce is from their website. I would advice ya to call tim at modular and tell him what you want to do. He will be able to set ya in the right direction.
