I honestly like the contrast of the yellow foglights. I hate hid headlights and hid foglights or similar. I like the caddy / lexus yellow orange foglight look.

ya it does kinda **** me off when people are coming at me with wicked bright light and i cant see, but you dont live near me so the brighter the better

I'd get HID lights because they make your car look much better. It's the first mod i do to every car i buy.

However i really don't recommend anything about 6000k. Anyone that knows anything about HID technology will say the same. There's a reason why car manufacturers don't use anything over ~5000k (Benz), and the main bulb manufacturers don't make anything over 6000k (Phillips).

This is why I dont do hids:

HID systems without the proper projection systems cause extreme glare and blind oncoming traffic. Projection systems, such as those found in factory installed HID systems, focus the light and prevent glare.

Retrofitting of an ENTIRE sealed OEM HID headlamp from a different vehicle keeping all original functions*) intact is legal in North America. Obviously, it must be mounted in the approximate same height and as solid as on the original vehicle. It basically goes under regulations regarding non-compliant lighting. Equipment commercially made/sold in the US currently carries a fine of up to $10,000 per occurrence.

Yes it is illegal. Unless equipment complies with current standard and is covered by a certification. This makes import a criminal act, you cannot blame the shipper or brokerage company. They can only advise you not doing it."

Illegal to sell huh? You sure about that? Definitely not legal if you say OFFROAD ONLY in the description.

Also i fail to see how using HID in the halogen housing gives off an overwhelming amount of glare. This highly depends on what vehicle they are going on. On my mustang they not at all annoying for fellow drivers. I've had zero complains so far.
