this has been one hell of a week... Okay, new question. If my gas guage isn't accurate, which I now know it is not. But, the needle moves... What's making it inaccurate? Do I need to consider replacing the fuel pump/sending unit? I'm assuming it's the stock unit in place now. I think even the spark plugs are factory pieces... I have some spring cleaning to do i.e. plugs, wires, fuel filter anyway. Anyone have an answer to this question?

eek... thats not good... Ya you gauge is way off lol. I dont understand why it would say that you have1/4 tank after 1 gallon... If you have a tuner see if it throws any codes. Could be a bad sensor in the gas tank or could be the fuel filter is super clogged.

I just read your post now but I was gonna say your out of gas. Exact problem happened to my brothers 98 v6 once. We tried everything and then we were like well **** I guess we can try some gas. It showed about an 1/8 left. Only happened once around 100K miles on the dial.

Any chance you did a face change on your gauges and didn't get the gas needle back in the same place?
