**** It just died. I was on my way to work about 10 minutes ago and I stopped at the stopsign and my battery light blinked on and then the car just died. I started it back up and it died in about 10 seconds. I pushed it back into a parkign space, and it will let me restart it, but right away the engine flutters and then it slowly craps out. Like its choking to death... What the hell is wrong with it?

Could it be mod-induced? Do you have UDPs/T-Body/Plenum?

I think that would have caused something earlier. What is the idle at when you start the car? Maybe fuel or ignition

Check your intake, do you have a maf??

start up idle is about 1k usually drops to about 750, but when it gets close to that now it drops and flutters at about 3-400 and dies.... I'll be back in a few mins, gonna go look at this pile.

My guess is that It has something to do with intake. It sounds like the car isn't get enough air, so it dies. Check your cai and make sure everything looks normal.

I'd say your alternator is shot.. that's why the battery warning light came on.

If the alternator can't charge the battery or supply power to the engine, the car will STOP. If you have a spare battery (that has a full charge) try swapping it in for a temporary fix. The car will run until THAT battery goes dead lol

if it was the alt and the battery was dead then it wouldnt start over and over again.
