hopefully i get a solution....
hopefully i'm in the right forum (sorry noob) i have a 2000 convertible, the top is pretty much new, i never had problems sisnce i bought it a couple of years ago, but today, during the rain i found some water in the carpet, i looked for a leak in the top but nothing... then i found some water driping in the door panel close to the front speaker, is on both doors, and the frriggin doors are closed, i tried to take it to the dealer and they said that there is no warranty for that and they have to look for the problem, and my friend used to work in the a dealer and he told me that probably i just need to change the weatherstrip so screw them... now there is a lot of rubber pieces around the door so i don't know what to replace or maybe somebody has a solution that doesnt involve replacing $$$ anything... i would really appreciate it

It might be to late but you can try. Wheather strips dry out because people usually don't apply wheather strip grease(lube) once or twice a year like they should. They take good care of everything else but not to many people know you should lube your wheatherstrips. Buy some (wheathersrtip grease and see if it helps, it might ,the cars not that old or pull it up and look at the pinch weld and see if is bent maybe from the factory or something else happened to it.
