Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems

Okay, I got a problem...my 1998 GT mustung had a return fuel system. Well I need to replace the fuel pressure regulator. So everyone keeps telling me it's a seperate part. But mine's like already attached to the fuel rail.....like welded....from the factory. So do I need to buy the entire fuel rail?...Or is there something I'm missing. I'm pretty sure it's a return fuel system...because it has to lines rumming from the passenger fuel rail. Am I right or am I just being ignorant....HELP PLEASE>>>ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

The fuel regulator is located on the driver's side of the engine and it is mounted on top of the fuel rail. It can be removed...at least on the 99-04 4.6s

Default RE: Fuel Pressure Regulator Problems

Sorry about the helps...just wanted to bump the thread up.
What the hell else is on my fuel rail then other than that?...I mean it has a red vaccum line running from it. It's the stock components. The driver side doesnt have anything on the fuel rail accept for the vaccum lines running from the EGR Valve and Map sensor. And if I'm not looking at the fuel pressure regulator then what is it?.....and Why is my return fuel line dry.....because my damn car won't start....and I just bought the 255lph fuel pump. This all happened after I put the new fuel pump on.....I turned on the car....everything was fine....no gas though....so I took off to the gas station to put some....almost there the cars turns off....soo i thought i ran out of gas....put gas...the car doesnt start again...and return furel line is empty....I hear the fuel pump when I turn it on (buzz as usual). And like I said the only thing that looks like the fuel pressure regulator on my car is (non removable from the fuel rail). Now if I'm looking at the wrong thing explain to me what I'm looking at...or perhaps the problem....cuz Im about to trash this fukin car....Im really frustrated already...fix one thing...then another thing pops up...Now any help after hearing the whole story??? THANX
