Default Adjusting Idle

I'm pretty sure there is a way to adjust the idle on stock tb's, isnt there? I know you can adjust the idle a bit w/ a tuner, but i'd like to increase the idle on my auto a bit, stock, they idle at 550, for economoical reasons im sure. I'd rather idle higher like standards, around 700. For one the engine sounds like crap at 550 for idle, and secondly, who wants to take off at 550 rpms? Isn't there some type of screw you can adjust?
