95,000 on a 97GT. Intake Manifold craked, pulley tensioner shattered while driving, burns some oil usually between a qt-2 qt's low every 3,000. I use mobil 1 10W30 full syn. rear sway bar broke, new hub assembly, new tranny that's about it. Overall a good car I beat it hard and drive usually around 100 on the highway. tensioner broke after driving around a steady 100 for 40 miles. It still pulls great although I have a new exhaust, intake system and 3.73's

pi motor. you wont have to worry about the milage, and you get more power!

 

are you saying i have a pi motor? i was under the impression that the pi motors started in 99??

 

i'm saying drop in a low milage p.i. motor. your stock npi motor has quite a bit of miles, and installing a new one would be ideal for modding. So if you're going to drop a new motor in , drop in the Pi Motor and get more power!!!

 

how many of these threads are we gonna have? too many miles is when yer engine dont run

 

ok, that's what i thought, and that is my plan for when it blows but that's gonna cost some major $$$. shoudl i just do that asap? or simple bolt ons for now and the swap later?
