any ways about wrecks, several years back i totalled a 95gt on a heard of cattle, yeah thats what i said. Came over a hill doin about 70 and boom. didnt have time to react. killed 5 cows and my pony. me and my gf walked away fine. very lucky. As for winter beater, the tranny went out in mine so i have to drive the stang

 

Here guys, this was the second accident i got into with her, and the secong time they told me it was total loss... Well thank god shes gone, nutting but a bad luck charm! the first accident happened in summer and the second in fall so nutting in winter yet *knocking hard on wood* i repaired her the fist time and nutting but problems.. i will never fix a car that is total loss again! not worth the headachs and problems!

Damn those pictures tell me that my accident was nothing but a fender bender compared to pic's up above.I'll post some pic's of my car when i get my usb cable.

 

.....for me its not a question of affording a beater or not , but rather me not wanting to drive a s**tbox for 4 months. I love my stang and prefer to drive that.

Winter tires and rims, weight in the trunk, smart driving and rustproofing every year..........and your stang is good to go year round.

 

I don't know... if ya love your stang why would you want to drive it around in dirty mushy salty crap with a bunch of weight in the back bogging and sagging your springs?? Consistent weight on the springs like that will make them sag. I live in Vegas so I don't have to worry about thaty snow stuff!

 

then you just lucky cause you dont know how we have to deal with the snow...and ice....and slush....and...and... you get the point.

it looks worse than it is, it only bent in front of the strut brace, the brace kept the front end straight, it cost 800 to fix the front of the frame, they checked everything before they started and all my wheels were in line and car was straight.

 

funny, same **** with my first accident, took a clip from another gt and it costed me 8k though! my car sucked after it though as well...
