Default Bought a Procharger / intercooler for $1000

Well I finally found the deal I was looking for. A guy at a local car lot got a 03 GT in on trade with a procharger kit on it. Someone took it for a joy ride and slung a rod through the pan. He bought another engine to go in it, and is only looking to get his money back to pay for the engine.

He was asking $1250 for everything! I offered him $1000 and he said come get it some time this week!

We also agree'd to trade injectors and mass air meters, being as he needs factory ones anyways, it comes with all the piping , brackets everything!

He also has a piller gauge with boost and fuel pressure gauges, and i'm going to try to trade my k&n cold air intake to it.

The only thing I'll need is a good tune and a fuel pump

If the deal goes through as agreed on, I should pick it up tomar or friday. I'll get some pics soon!

Are the prochargers oiled via the pan?

If so you might want to have the blower rebuilt before putting it on your car, if the car was at decent speed when the rod broke through the pan, it might have been running w/out oil for a few min which is obviously no good. Just a thought, but good luck w/the setup.

Nah, they're self-oiling.

Just so you know, you'll have to trailer the car to the dyno after the install. When you change out with the new injectors the car won't start with the stock computer. It would be crazy to start it up with the stock tune anyway. You'll love the sound and the whine though. That's an awesome deal!

That is a great deal. For parts, labor and programingfor my P1SC, I spent $5,600. But the idle pulley kept breaking on me so I upgraded to the D1SC. The D1SC has a great sound to it. Good luck.
