Default MAC SS catback ordered!!!

Well I've had enough of the Magnapacks. I've been a chambered muffler guy all along, but I made the mistake of buying Magnaflow because of the money situation at the time, and I found a good deal.

However I've learned my lesson, and the clips I've heard of the MAC, and what I've heard from others is that it's very deep, mellow, and not raspy at all. Should sound great with my O/R Prochamber. This clip won me over : http://youtube.com/watch?v=h8OQClvTcCk

I will keep you all updated and HOPEFULLY this is the last time I have to dump money into the car to get the exhaust right.

Sup Matt? Yeah good deals are bad, because although you are paying less for the item you are still paying for something you don't want. At least that was my case. I have a feeling I'm doing it right now. And yep, the reason I went with MAC is because its one of the few chambered muffler catbacks that are stainless steel. Spintech has poor advertising and I couldn't find any catbacks to buy, not even on their website. Flowmaster sounds great, but I need stainless steel, and MRT catback sounds wicked but it's wayyyy to pricey for just a catback. MAC seems to be just right as far as sound and price goes.

POWERWORLDDUDE,

Yeah chambered mufflers sound the best on Mustangs, no doubt. I'm not saying the other exhausts are bad per se, but I feel MAC/Flowmaster bring out the best sound in these motors. I can't wait!

Nah I'm never going FI so going LTs I won't get the full benefit especially considering the money. It may make my WOT sound louder/better, but from what I've heard getting headers doesn't change much else. This is the last bolt on I'm doing to the Stang. I may do some small appearance stuff here and there, but that's about it.

Rainy,

Prochamber w/ the MAC catback sounds great from what I've heard. And make sure you get an O/R pipe, catted Prochamber doesn't sound much different compared to stock.

That was in the beginning. But I heard some clips of the Magnapacks w/ an H and it didn't sound right, with too much BLAT BLAT BLAT. Prochamber seemed to be a good happy medium between an X and an H pipe.
