Its ready!!!
When i got home tonight i had a note on the table for me.It said that my car was done and i can pick it up tomorrow.Im so excited thats its done andi can pick it up.For all the ones that dont know my rearend went out 2 weeks ago and now its done and had everything replaced new in it.Nowits one lessthing i dont have to worry about now and it can take about anything i throw at it now.Now the tranny is next or until it goes out to but i dont think it going to last very long lol.6 speed here we come lol.
Yea i been thinking about the tko but a 6 speed would be nice.It would help out with my new 4.10s out back if i wanted to take a trip. The 6 speed is rated for 450tq+ but i know the tko would take more abuse but i dont use the bottle very much though
If your getting the T-56 (new anyway) thats the same price as a TKO your not going to be doing anything for your highway RPM. The non viper spec t56 (the one thats about 1800 like the TKO ) has a virtually identical gearset as the 45 and 3650 except for having an extra gear between 4th and 6th.
This tells you more about TKO/56 swaps:

The only way to setup the car to be able to run a higher rear end ratio via a 56 is to buy the much more expensive viper spec 56 with the ultra long 6th gear. Unfortunatly, if your buying everything new you are going to end up spending big bucks. Your looking at a new trans, bellhousing, driveshaft, and then probably a clutch and flywheel too unless you really like constnatly removing your LTs to do different stuff (they have to come out to pull trans/do clutch etc).
I had about 3k wrapped up in my TKO including parts and install, if a shop is doing the work figure 3700-4000 for the swap all told on a T56 viper spec with new parts.

I mite be wrong but i thought i seen the t-56 for $2400 and that included the bellhousing and it has the .80 5th and .62 for the6th gearinstead of the .68 5th gear for the tko.The tko is 1800 or 1900 but then u have to buy the bell housing to.Then u would only be saving like 100 or 200 bucks.I would pay just a little bitmore for the t-56 but if its a lot more like u said then tko all the way
I just lookedit up at brothersperformance.com.$2425 and it comes with the bellhousing instead of tko 1800 or 1900and 300+ bellhousing= 2100-2200+.I know its not as strong as the tko or take as much abuse but i dont use the bottle very much though.I know there areother little things to include but its not that much more then the tko unless im missing something. If i am please help because that will be the next thing i will get.If my motor will hold up until then lol.To me the t-56 or the tkowill be around the $2700-3000 dallor range
Yeaaa!!I went and got my car today but i cant get on it all the way.He said do 4 or 5 cycles and let it get warmed upall the way and let it cool down all the way.I will proberly try to get on it the day after tomorrow and c what it feel like.On the way home i tap the gas a few times but stayed under 4500rpm and about half throttle. It did seem a little more peppy but wont really know unil the next couple of days. The 4.10s really didnt seem much shorter then my 3.73s.But i do have to reburn my chip now for the 4.10s
