The Mach 1000 is an amazing system for a stock setup. It looks sexy in the trunk and hits decent. And it probably weighs about half of what any subs you could get!

BUT if your wanting something that hits HARD you are not going to find it with this.... Yes the Mach 1000 rattles your liscence plate and shakes your mirrors and will make people look but its not that breathtaking DEEP bass. If your not wanting to spend a whole lot on a system but you want an upgrade i think $200 is definately worth it.

depends on how much you pay for it. its not worth it if your paying enought that u could buy a far suppior aftermarket system but if u get it cheap then more power to ya!

Go with an aftermarket rig. It'll weigh half as much, take up half the space, be compatible with other aftermarket equipment, and sound a thousand times better. I had the 1000 in my 02 GT and was disgusted with the POS....[:'(]

well i have it in my car and it sounds way better than with no subs, but its not that big bass from an aftermarket system, but imo, i dont like that deeeep sound anyways. but if it come for me to buy a system, ill go with an aftermarket. i like the custom sub boxes tho...

id say get a 1 sub setup that hits hard, saves room in the trunk and doesnt weigh as much. ive said it once and il say it again, go aftermarket and not mach1k. i have 1 10in sub that i had leftover from my previous vehicle. it sounds really good inside the car and complements the 460 very nicely. you cant hear it all that much till i roll down the windows. i just wanted a little thump, my exhaust does all the talking

The 6 amps and 2 subs weighed62 pounds. I know because I ripped them outta my GT when it got wrecked and sold them on Ebay.
