Just wondering if with the mods listed below I can beat a stock LS1 but without using the nitrous?

Why is it that LS1 are just so damn horrible off the line? My friend has an 02 Z28 completely stock and off the line I kill him but on a roll or when we on a freeway theres no catching him. Is it true their 3rd gear is amazing?

 

i had an LS1, and yeah off the hole we will kill the, but see what happen when you hit that 2nd and 3rd gear, look close because he will be coming fast!!, and if he has some exhaust and K&N, boy!! hold on.

well, thats a full bolt on gt with cam, versus a stock LS1 (minus K&N and muflers) and rolling it was holdin on close, come on i love my stang but those cars are GOD's right hand muscle car.[&:]
