how hard is it to do this? and anyway to tell which one it is other than using a tuner to find it? or am i S.O.L?

 

Go to autozone or wherever and have them scan your codes. It will tell you which bank it is.

 

yea, the code is usually sensor specific. just for reference, bank one is the pass side.
are you sure you even need a new sensor? just because you get an o2 sensor code, it doesn't necessarily mean that the sensor is dead

A good place to get your o2 sensors is www.oxygensensors.com I replaced both front o2's for $70. Ordered on wed, had them on fri.

 

i can't remember the code num exactly. but the guys at Nappa used their tuner and i saw that it did say bad o2 sensor. just didnt say which side..
