question about S/C
is it the vortec's that you dont have to tap the oil pan or is that the procharger? i wanna say procharger but not quite sure... i kno its just a matter of opinon but seems to me like alot of ppl go with procharger over vortec.. any reasons why?
ya i accepted that when i got the 4.10s but i didnt want to bitch about wishing i had gone with them in the first place...

Hell, I am making 1-2 PSI down around 2800 RPM. my vortech seems to boost fairly quickly, I haven't seen any prochargers making boost before that.
The only downside to going with a vortech is no intercooler in the 4K~ pricetag. However, a DIY is easy, and the SQ sieres has ALOT more room to grow than a PS1C. IMO if you EVER think your going to build the shortblock the DS1C or SQ (or T trim) is for you, not the PS1c
