In any case, the entire BS about 4.10s making 1st useless is just that... BS. The only way it is useless is if your running stock style tires and get no traction.. but its not the gears fault, its your tires/driving!

I am so happy I went with 4.10 gears. MPG going to North Carolina was 25-26 MPG highway with 5 speed tremec 3650. This is an overall round trip average that I checked at each and every fill up. I could not believe the results and double checked the math each time, but I in fact got 25-26 MPG and was running 65-75 MPH average. IN town I get about 18-20 depending on how much stopping and starting I am doing. And yes 1st gear is still very useful. People don't real;ize that the 1st gear on a tremec is 2.87:1 ratio as compared to the 3.35:1 first gear ratio on the T45.

I am afrade to go with 4.10, gas is too high, I already have to fill it up too often alread.....but i know gears will make it fun when I decide to hit it. I dont actually drive it that hard anyways. Maybe a few times on the weekend but not that often. so someone turn on the digital Tack that is on every stock 99-04 GT and run the car in 5th and see the exact RPM at a few points like 50MPH, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, and 80 and tell us exactly what the RPMs are at.......AAAhhhhh preferably some one with 4.10 and everything else close to stock on there car.
