Track Day - General Thoughts
yes...BF Goodrich specs a 225 width tire for 17" dia rim widths of 7" - 8.5". They do not offer anythign inbetween the 225 and the 275, and the 275 is not meant for an 8" rim even tho everyone runs them for some reason.

I've got 275 street tires on my stock Bullitts. So how wide are the wheels you are putting these on, or what style/car are they from if you don't know?EDIT: I just noticed that you said they don't make anything between a 225-275... 245's come stock on GT 17x8 wheels...
Get the 275's especially if they are for limited track use. The BFG's are a pretty good tire. I would reccomend getting a smaller 15 or 16in wheel, and then get tires for it. 17in drag radial = no sidewall = gay

Bleedin Blue....You are correct, about the 245 with a stock street tire, but I meant the BFG drag radial for a 17" rim jumps from a 225 to a 275
