GT vs EVO
Im just curious to know how a gt can compete with a mitsubishi evo. I know the numbers are about the same and the gt weighs a little less, but from a no roll start how would they match up? Im only asking cause i have a buddy that has one, its bone stock. I know it has awd, but does that really make that big of a difference? I kinda think it does because to me the evo has what 276 hp right? but in reality thats 276 hp on all wheels so doesnt that kinda make the evo a 550hp car? Im just curious because to me the evo is king for the ricer group and some might say the mustang is for muscle atleast most of us on this forum would i would think. I know this might be a dumb thread, but there really isn't that much of talk about the two cars.
<<<<mustang all the way. first, gt looks sexier. evo is not really a race car if you go by the diffinition. what kind of race car has 4 doors? no offense, but i just hate evo and wrx. they just look too weird. they are good for winter driving though. as for head to head, i don't really know. i had post a question about the same subject.
I agree i dont like the evo or wrx, i mean i like the turbo and all, but i just cant stand the sound, i mean ive rode dirtbikes and used weed eaters all the time, i dont need to hear it anymore lol, i like the deep drone in my cab goin down the road and just that plain american muscle.

Sorry bud, thats 276 fwhp.. FLY WHEEL HP..I do not want to know how you are going about your conversions, or how you came to think of those....
Lol umm.. NO. Sure the evo has 4 doors and just as many cylenders, buuuuut rice.. don't think so.

Well 276hp times 4 wheels would be 1104hp. Stock mustangs have 265hp on 2 wheels which would make your car have 530hp. So the evo would be 2x as fast.......
