Default Painting the grill delete.

Has anyone painted their Mach 1 grill delete? I'm talking about the lower part that covers the holes in the bumper. My car is black and I was thinking that if the plastic piece was darker, it would blend in better. Also, has anyone had problems with there being a small gap in between the bumper and the plastic? Any solutions?

No problems having gapswith mine.
I would leave it the way it is. Don`t paint it.
