Ok iam getting 4.10's installed friday and i just talked to a local speed shop and they told me my car would act like it needs more air in first gear which makes it slower in 1st anywone know if this is ture?

more air as in from the intake

Definitely not slower in first. You will however get through first in the blink of an eye compared to stock. The only thing my car acts like is it needs a 6th gear when cruising above 70 mph.
