finished the rear seat delete pics
ok i decided to make a new post cuz my last one got anialated
hey guys i finally finished my rear seat delete and i must say it looks good...its made of 5/8th inch plywood, 1/2 in foam padding, black vinyl, black carpet, and custom stitching done by Kustom Trim here in Tucson...im going to start selling these to people here on MF that just done feel like paying $260 +s/hfor a quality seat delete... i still need to work out the pricing for the different levels of what you can get (stitching or not, vinyl or carpet or cloth, etc) with everything including stitching and black vinyl and the trunk side carpeted it will probably come out to $190 + s/h but im not sure...like i said i still have to add it all up...
had to get special permission from saleen to do the logo so if you wanted something like the pony, cobra, GT, cobra lettering, mustang lettering, ford logo...anything that even clues in on a ford trademark the guy requires written permission
the color is pretty close i mean its black not charcoal but maybe thats because didnt make it clear enough for the people that did it...better than specially ordering from ford though...ill check in to see if they can get it closer for my next one
here it is
i tried to show how it lines up great and there arent any gaps
what do you guys think???
~G
im going to be doing one on my friends 94 and my dads 05 so i will have those coming soon
BTW it comes will all hardware needed and im going to make detailed instructions on how to install it
also it weighs 28lbs total so you lose 22 lbs assuming the seat assembly weighs 50lbs
i removed the seat belt buckles, rolled the seatbelts up, wiretied them, and stuck it in the hole, removed the seats of course, hacked off 2 studs that hold the bar that is under the seat (so that its level not slanted like others that you see) and if you decide to go back to the seats when you sell the car or w/e the bar can be held on by the other 2 bolts...and im sure i removed a ton of other sh*t...
