I got alot of car stuff from my friend for my graduatoin present and in there was a small orange flame bottle. It was calledoctane booster. How does this work or what is it suppose to do? im sure its nothing but just curious if it would mess up my car or not.

 

My friend uses it with his 100 shot on his GT. Hes runin it on 87 and just dumps a bottle of it when he sprays.

 

Most octane booster are not worth a sh*t!

The stuff from Walmart is not worth buying.

 

Octane booster is pretty crappy stuff. You're better keeping a few gallons of racing fuel in the garage that you can add.

 

octane booster is what the ricers use to make them THINK they are going faster. i once saw a guy driving a toyota carolla type s and he was buying a bottle of it. just for ****s and giggles i asked him if that stuff really works (i already knew it didnt) and his response was "yeah bro. this stuff works wonders. you really feel the difference!" it was quite funny. but yeah if u really wanna get more octane go to a sunoco gas station (i dunno if their are any where u live but im sure they have an equivelant) thay have leaded race fuel. very nice stuff.

 

I need some of that leaded fuel for my 66. It'd probably run a little better than it does on this unleaded crap I have to feed her.

wouldnt that hurt your car, putting leaded fuel in an unleaded ONLY car.
