Default headers

I have an exhaust leak coming from my header near where it bolts on, I originally planned on putting on lt's and the shorty mid pipe, but i had some problems come up and cant pay it right away, but i need to get rid of that leak its so annoying to hear, it kills the sound, gas mileage, and performance. Anyway, im just going to get shorty's for a short time like for a couple months if that, is it okay if i dont get ceramic for that time being? I just dont want to spend a good bit on headers that im going to replace. So would be ok if i dont get ceramic on the shorty's, but when i get the lt's i'll def. get ceramic. Any thoughts would be great. thanks
