Tire Question

I am looking for some winter tires will 225/45/17s fit on my stock 17" wheels that are currently 245/45/17? Has anyone tried this size on stock wheel?

No, don't use them. The skinniest I'd say would be 235. 225 is too much for me. But I wouldn't even use 235 on my car.
