How is adding a blower, a good tuneand keeping the boost level within an acceptible range not doing it right? Here's the deal, your working with a very little motor, unless you want to spend gobs of money, a blower is going to be the cheapest, most reliable way to reach your goal.

I wish I knew why people set a hp goal like this in the first place. To me, a ET goal is a better way to go about things. And lets be realistic here, a 500 hp motor is more power than 99% on here can fathom. That's and easy low 11 second car, more than enough to beat 99% of the cars you run into out on the street. Also are we talking RWHP or crank HP? 500 at the crank is about 450ish rwhp and there are plenty of 97 Cobras out there putting down that kind of power.
