yeah the dakota. . . This guy and all my mangers have big heads. one has a stock 05Gt mustang(mangers) the other one has a dodge hemi 05(mangers) truck and the even bigger headed one is the one with the dodge dakota R/T(mangers *i*ch). and they all think they can take me. . . i get a laugh everytimei go to work.
Dude my ex girlfriends stupid Ex boyfriend has a dodge RT dakota thats all riced out and he told us that he beat a cobra and can kill any mustang so my buddy with a stock vert raced him and got him and then i raced him and raped him. They aint got nothing. Another friend of mine got a new hemi 1500 with dual exhaust and all that and he said it was so bad but my buddy with a chevy 1500 6.0 beat the living **** out of him. HEMI's ftl.
Those Dakota RTs are like mid 15 second trucks.
TommyV8 over in the SS section just raced a cammed/stickered to all hell Dakota at the track the other night. He said he beat him bad. I saw the truck but didn't see what times he was running. PM Tommy and ask what the Dakota ran.

Remember guys, the 5.9 was before Chrysler got serious. The R/T badge on those trucks is a joke. The 5.9 is a pig of an engine and is only advertised at 245 hp if I remember right. Not too tough to beat that, especially when it's in a 4500+ lb truck!
I drove an RT a few years back (Well before I got my Mustang) and I admit it felt very strong. I think that particular truck had partial exhaust and a chip of some sort. Afterwards I remember telling someone who was asking how quick it was that I would expect it to keep up with some V8 Mustangs.
Now I know better, but also know how the trucks make the butt dyno feel. Maybe it is because of how they can sound (I do like the sound of Dodge trucks)
