Functional side scoops?

One caution, there is a very good possibility that one or more of the plastic retainer tabs will break when you remove the scoop--they are held on with plastic push pins that ride in slotted tabs, use a proper tool and proceed gently...

Even better. Well then this weekend I'll go to Home Depot and pick up some flex tubing and make them as functional as possible. Thanks for the replys.

There's alreadyopenings in the body, behind the fake side scoops--fairly good sized too, they have plastic sheeting gasket/seal stuck over them...

my side "ducts" are functional on my car, i haven't seen many that are. There's vents behind them for cooling the brakes....looks like it came like that from the factory.

I just don't really see the point. It seems like a lot of work and risk of breaking the scoops for little to no gain.
Now if you could route the piping to cool the front brakes, ok
(J/K!!!)

funny that you mentioned that...here's a car that's already done that.....pretty cool that they left the stock eaton (made it non-functional) on there to fool a few non-suspecting racers.....
