Functional side scoops?

just get some drilled and slotted rotors. i dont know why you worried about the rear brakes getting too hott anyway. you only use less then 25% of the rear

I never said I was worried about the brakes getting hot, I only wanted get rid of the fake things on my car. I don't like that my car has a fake hood scoop and brake coolers. I'd love to see a corvette with fake side scoops. Anyhow I haven't been able to work on it yet because of this http://www.peaceriverconference.net/
I've been coaching pop warner at North Port for five years and I was his assistant defense coach this year. He passed away yesterday on the field from a heart attack. I will get to it tho.

I'd worry about keeping the scoops in place. Not much holding them on anyway, so actually adding air directly behind the scoop could leave you scoopless.

Rumor has it that Ford put the holes in the body so they could use those scoops for actual brake cooling, but the bean counters killed that idea.

ya i did that to my 1969 mustang and my 98. i just did it cuz i was bored one day. but i guess it helps when your braking a lot
