think i found a new car.. 2003 cobra
how bad is a theft recovery and can i still get it registered?

You will be issued a salvage title, therefor it loses ALOT of resale. Also, some insurance companies won't cover the car and it's very hard to get a loan for a salvage title car.

Get it. You're going to mod the hell out of it anyway, and I would assume keep it for quite some time. If you ever wanted to re-sell it that far down the road, it wouldn't be worth too much anyway.
Just look into any issues that may arise as far as insurance goes.

Quick question:
If its a theft recovery, then why wasnt it given back to the person it was stolen from? Was it stolen from a dealer? Or stolen, returned, and then sold to a dealer?
