LMAO!!! ok i normally dont post random things like this but i have to share. i was on my way home from work sitting in trafic and some guy pulls next to me and says "nice car". so i say thanks and think nothing of it. just as i am about to start moving the guy looks at me with a straight face and says "yea its nice, DOES IT HAVE A HEMI".. lol i couldnt help but to laugh. i said "no thats only in a dodge" he then wants to get mad and say that im wrong and his friend has a mustang with a hemi!lol this was the dumest thing i have seen in a while.

yea, but the hemi motor in the 429 was made by Ford and it was not called a hemi...the design made it a hemi, but it was called a blue cresent or a shotgun motor... chrysler has the Hemi and ford had the Shotgun....."That thing got a Hemi?" is referring to a motor that is actually called a Hemi... so the 429 did not have a Hemi, it had a Shotgun motor that was designed as a hemi. they are called hemis because they have a hemispherical combustion chamber, its not just some name chrysler though would be cool...

 

its a semi hemi though. hell, most engines today are at least semi hemi.
