What do you expect? You're an Auburn fan and god hates Auburn fans!
HAHA J/K man, work on that short time with some drag radials and you will be amazed at the difference.

Even if he doesn't have gears he should still be in the 14's even with a 2.2 60' . The trap speed is the problem. If he's only trapping at 93 mph he's not making power. Even in 90 degree heat he should be trapping higher. I agree that you might have some sort of craptastic tune in there or something's not working right.

As far as the gear goes..well....I don't know. Me and my friend with the 00 GT and a 3.73 drove side by side on the way home. At 1500 RPM's in 5th gear he was at about 53 MPH and I was at about 49 MPH. Ehh.....I don't know. They think I have maybe a 3.55.

Stock gears or not, I'd still hit the dyno to get your a/f ratio checked.

if by any chance both banks are running lean you may check your fuel filter to see if its clogged.

As a matter of fact, when was the last time the car was tuned up? New fuel filter, air filter (Or clean a reusable) and spark plugs at least.

I have an 03 GT with 62,000 miles on it. Here are my mods.

MGW shortshifter
3.73 gear...supposedly. It was in the car when I bought it.
Flow Master 40s
Mac Pro Chamber.

I'm running on street tires, it was about 90 degrees in Jackson S.C. Like I said, my buddy drove it and he said it felt like it didn't have the power up top. He even said that it doesn't seem to rev as fast as it should while you are just sitting there. The tuner said it was running lean but again. That is all Greek to me so....
i bet you, the guy has some sort of tune on it. what octane gas were you running... try running the highest if you didnt and see how it runs.. if it doesnt improve run the lowest

gears has nothing to do with trap speed.. at least not 3.55 to 3.73... how is the motor running.. when you start it do you hear any knocking.. or noises that dont seem normal?

i doubt it has a custom tune on an n/a mustang but its possible, like i said before and wat bleedin blue said, a tune-up couldnt hurt.

No, it runs smooth as silk. No start-up problems or anything like that. I have run nothing but 87 octane since I've had the car. From all the reading/research I have done on these cars I learned that it will not gain anything from higher octane fuels unless it is tuned for it.....but I could be wrong here too.It could be tuned for 93 octane but to be honest I have no idea.
